I've had it with trying to resaw wood. Either my technique is wacked or I just dont have a good enough saw. I am wondering if there is anyone in the cincinnati area that would be willing to resaw some stock for a reasonable price. I dont have that much to do. I just need to make some tops for some ukuleles that I hope to start building. Please let me know if you are interested, Thanks -shawn

Check the tension on the v-belt. I have seen motors on saws and fans trip the breaker due to the v-belt being too tight. don't try to force the board through the blade, let it go at it's own pace. Also check the length of the electrical circuit. If you are too far from the circuit breaker, and it's only a 15 amp circuit, you are not going to have much luck. You want to be on a 20amp circuit with a suitable size wire.
I just re-read your message, and something caught my eye. You say you "don't have much" on that circuit. If it's a 15 amp circuit, you are probably over the top if just lights are on the same circuit, or even a radio.
Don't give up, step back, methodically check out the possibilities. You can do this. Have a little faith. The voices made me do it.Comment

Besides the above, I have seen bad breakers also do things like tripping quicker, or not resetting. But check the other stuff first (just toward the end of the list, before getting so frustrated and selling the bandsaw). She couldn't tell the difference between the escape pod, and the bathroom. We had to go back for her.........................Twice.Comment
