    plywood in nj

    Hi all,

Looking for cabinet grade plywood in or around the princeton area in NJ. I went through the yellowbook, and called every lumber-retailer and nobody carries maple plywood or any cabinet grade plywood.

I'm looking to build cabinets for our laundry room.

    Thanks in advance

    Rajiv,

I'm much further south in NJ than you are (about a hour and a half), but I have a few ideas for you. Much depends on how far you're willing to go.

Here's a hardwood lumber yard to try, they may have ply as well:

    Willard Brothers:

    http://www.willardbrothers.net/

They are a few miles from the Quaker Bridge Mall.

Mr. Roberts Lumber in Barrington (exit 29 or 30 on 295)

    http://www.lumber-2.com/

I've been there a few times, they stock some cabinet grade plywoods, they will order others as well.

Also, check HD and Lowes, sometime they have good plywood, sometime they have junk. I'm sure there are places in Bucks county too, don't know where though.

    Jim

This is where I get all my cabinet grade ply, they do have maple and also have it prefinished.

If all else fails, call some cabinet shops in your locale and ask nicely where to buy what you want.

about 30 min north of you.

Try Niece lumber in Lambertville there a little north of you in Hunterdon County, Their phone number is 609-397-1200. they usually have a lot of stuff and may be able to order the lumber you need.
