Nice collection of projects & tips

I picked up the book "America's Best-Ever Woodworking Projects & Shop Tips 2006" at HomeDepot about a month ago. It's a collection of WOOD magazine projects, some jigs & tips. If you've subscribed to WOOD for awhile, I guess you would have most of the plans already, but for someone just getting started, I think it's a nice collection of beginner/intermediate projects.

Some of my best books were found in a used bookstore, for less than half price. If there is one in your area, try it out. I've gotten to know the people working in a few I visit, and they keep me posted on what they get in. Other sources that you could get lucky with are Goodwill Industries, and St. Vincent DePaul.
