    Got Glue?

Often there is some question as to what Glue/Adhesive to use to attach things together.

The URL shown below is for a site that has just about every Glue type question answered, it's called "This to That". I keep a copy of the URL in my "favorites" list and you may want to also.

There is also a link on the 3M website with a similar work-up. It only deals with 3M products, but is much more specific and diverse with the classes of material. There are many types of plastic, for instance, with different properties and adhesive requirements, but the "this to that" link groups them all together under "plastic". Good for basic reference, but probably not as accurate.

          George,
Good information link. Just wish they would be a bit more detailed in their selection of materials, such as 'oily based wood (such as bloodwood)' to dense wood (such as Coffeenut).

This is one that I had problems with... tried yellow glue first and that was an utter failure.
