    Meee..2..

Finally, got me the BT3100k... and that too with a HF 20% off coupon honored...

Tried 4 stores, all to no avail... all managers claimed ignorance of this outfit and would not bother to even look at the coupon, leave alone honor it... Finally, decided to visit a BORG close to our local HF...

When I showed him the coupon, he gave me a big grin and said... Are you kidding me... You call that competetion, for LOL ?... I told him I drove 50 miles 1-way... just to buy from his store... I have 3 others BORGs closer to me you see, which he knows... I guess I caught him in a good mood, 10 mins to closing... I told him I'd be getting the herc-u-lift bases too... He thought for a moment and said... well take it and be outa here... Gone in 3 mins, like the road-runner ;!)

Off to assembly tomorrow... With this forum next to me, every step of the way... Thanks all, for all the insights... No more tools after the Jungle Spree and this..., says me wife ... Threatens to rip my cards with the TS using my fingers as a featherboard... ouch

As the world turns, so will my beloved TS...
    G'd nite,
    /venkat

        Welcome.

Maybe build something nice for your wife with your new saw or buy her some jewelry. I usually have to buy something for my wife when I want to make a big purchase.
I love the smell of sawdust in the morning. It smells like...Woodworking.

Sounds to me like you wanted that 3100 real bad and after all that you deserve it so congrats. Heck he should have thrown in the lift for all that as far as I'm concerned. Well, welcome to the forum and have fun. You're gonna love the saw!
