    BT3100 Table flatness?

    Hi All,

I just picked up my BT3100 at HD yesterday and started assembly...now I have some questions.
#1- How flat are your tables? The miter table seems to be as flat as my straight edge; however the main table seems to dip slightly (i can just slide a sheet of paper under the straight edge).
Also, the straight edge will rock slightly on the accessory table...again about the thickness of a sheet of standard printer paper.
#2- There seems to be slight movement at the rear of the accessory table where the 2 tabs slide into the rail.... the left rear corner will move up and down slightly.

So are these normal tolerances for the BT3100 (am I just paranoid) or should I be worried?

    Thanks,

I don't think that those kind of gaps would make a difference. At least not to my wood working ablilites. I would think that the rip fence being off or the SMT travel being crooked would have more of an impact on your cuts being square and true.
Awww forget trying to fix it!!!! Lets just drink beer
