I saw pic's and plans for building a router table, but the router was mounted horizontal on the left side of the table-not under it and mounted on a up/down sliding jig with locks and adjusters-but I cannot find it any where-thought I had saved it or bookmarked it-Thinking it was on this site but no luck-help Art

Fine Woodworking #169 (April 2004) has a plan for a low-cost router table with a horizontal mount fixture.

Also, Ken Massingale posted this really cool shop project recently: http://www.bt3central.com/forum/topi...izontal,router

        Art-Edna,

I just purchased a phenolic router table with router insert from Sommerfeld on clearance for $99 (he sells through CMT). I looked for a table for a while and this is a real bargain.

I mounted mine on my new TS wing but if you ask they will throw in a free DVD which shows how to build a table for it (along w/ many routering tricks). If you watch the video the $250+ fence they have utilizes a pivot pin to adjust the fence position to speed set-up. I think I will incorporate this into my new fence design. I plan to build a fence from the Nov. 2004 Wood magazine. I built one for my BT acc. table mounted router but need a new one for the wider table.
