HELP!!!

Well, I finished setting up my BT3100 last night. When I went to put the throat plate back on after installing the blade gaurd, I couldn't find the screw.[}] Can somebody tell me what length/threading etc that !@#$%^&* screw is? I'd like to go over to the local hardware store at lunch to replace it. It's simply listed as "screw", part 99 on page 43 in my manual.

I use 10-24 x 1/2" flat head screws for throat plates on my BT

That worked. Perfect fit! Thanks a bunch, you're a lifesaver! I spent 1/2 an hour last night looking for the original in the saw, on the floor, under everything.

To play it safe, I bought some spares and put them in a ziploc baggy and labeled it.

Better make triple sure that screw is not rattling around inside the saw someplace. You don't wanna know what'll happen if it gets caught in any of the moving parts.

Solved the mystery of the missing screw Monday night. It had fallen into one of the screw holes in the accessory table. Fortunately I just happened to see it when I was setting up the rip fence. Now I've got an extra spare! I may have a screw loose but at least I'm not losing it yet!!
