    Her-cu-lift HELP!

    Hello everyone,

Finished my assembly on my bt3100 this morning. I am now in the process of installing a Her-cu-lift Plus system. Before i drill my 3 1/8" holes for the leg brackets, any suggestions, recommendations, or ideas would be welcome.

I am new to woodworking and this web site. Any comments would be appreciated. Does anybody have pictures of this thing installed?

    Thanks-Merry Christmas

Thanks to all for comments and suggestions. What a great group you have here at bt3. Can't thank those enough who took the time to post pictures.

With a successful installation, I can now move on to the fun stuff.

Just spoke to Rigid. The rep told me that the Her-cu-lift Plus system will not install on the bt3100.

Now I'm really lost. My search bt3 found several successful installations. Anybody have a rebuttal for Rigid.

      Should I continue the installation?

      Thanks

I would go with some thing like: https://www.sawdustzone.org/articles...-4-wheel-dolly It is the same thing, but requres no drilling of the stand, or removing crossmembers.

I have the Hercu-lift-plus on my BT3100. If I remember correctly, I used the 28x28 dimension. What else do you want to know?

                Hi jormic,
I have the Herc-U-Lift Plus on my BT3100 and love it! It took some patient work (measuring, studying, planning, asking the great people on this site). The mobility is fantastic. Here are some pictures of my installation. Hope this helps.

Thank you Gary for the excellent set of pictures of your Herc-u-Lift installation. I followed the Herc-u-Lift directions the best that I could and made preliminary settings. I then compared my setup to your photos. I then changed two bolt locations to match yours. I then attched the Herc-u-Lift to my 3100 and it was an absolutely perfect match with no additional changes necessary. It works great and I am very happy with my $29 purchase at Home Depot. I went back and bought another Herc-u-Lift for my miter saw. Thanks again for posting your photos.

Thanks also to RickT for your excellent photos. I just now realized that I had photos from 2 different people.
