Thanks Brian, that's quite a compliment. But our children, the youngest being 29 are more special to us and the wife and I like to let them know by what we do more often that what we say. BTW, I have to make 6 of them.
Bill, if I used ebony in all the clocks I'd just about have to mortgage the house to buy it. Crazy. It's ebonized black walnut after I've sanded to 220 and filled the grain with a black filler and then added two coats of ebony stain. When that was completed I buffed them using black shoe polish.
