    Wood Magazine Curio Cabinet

This is the Curio Cabinet from Wood Magazine that I made for my daughter. I used cherry that was cut on her FIL property in southern Ill. I did have to get additional cherry locally for the legs though.

I made a slight change and use mortise/tenons instead of biscuits to join the shelf rails to the corner posts.

She wanted it for her crystal nautical figurines but also found some other items. Now she wants a holder for the spyglass. Will be working on that this week so she can take it home with her.

Nicely done. Looks like it took a minimum of materials and yet looks great. I'm sure she will cherish it for years.

Good job Lago! Got some more pics? Are the sides open or enclosed?

Very classy with that form and lighting. And nice choice on the wood.

I looked hard at those plans but didn't do anything on them.

Beautiful work! Certainly an item to be cherished.

That's the only pics I have. The shelves are open with shelf pins to allow for different heights.
