    Shaving Brush

LOML like to use my old shaving brush, when she shaves her legs. The old brush, I think it was the display brush from my Army footlocker in the 60's, had just a few hairs left.

So, I bought the deluxe Badger brush from PennState. I turned the base from a piece of Pink Ivory I had been hording.

That's really nice, I like it. How did you install the new brush?

My oldest son got me restarted on mug & brush shaving a little over a year ago. I had an old silvertip brush and he introduced me to Proraso--a very smooth Italian soap. It's a much nicer shave and a tube of soap is $10 lasts 4+ months so the cost is not out of line. Great way to start the day!!

It must be cool using something that you put some of yourself into, every day and all the while thinking about handing it down some day. Very nice job.
