    WoW! Breathtaking.

Beautiful piece, Machine. You say the spalted maple is extra thick. Was it shop-sawn or from a supplier? I've tried to find spalted at a vendor, but haven't had any luck. Even tried to spalt some maple in a damp container under a tree in the back yard. It spalted, just not attractively. Again, great work!

The spalted maple on the draw fronts was cut from a 1-inch thick piece using a bandsaw. So the veneer that came off was around 1/8 inch or slightly more, which is much thicker than veneer you would buy.

Beautiful work. Although walnut is my favorite I really like what you did with it here. The revealed cheery through the spalted veneer, wow, how folks come up with such design elements amazes me. I never think of such stuff. You have the artists touch.

                    This is stupendous work!

I love the veneer reveal on the drawer fronts - very smart/very attractive. What's the overall height of the cabinet? Are the drawers on metal slides or some sort of wood support?

Yes, I'd love to know more/see more detail of how the pull-outs work.
