    Wood Magazine Bistro Stools

I made some of the Bistro Stools from Wood Magazine for our daughter. it was made out of red oak that came from her FIL's place in southern IL. He liked them so much that I got another truck load of wood.

I think it was the lighting/flash that caused the difference in wood color.

Next project is the Curio Cabinet in an older Wood Mag.

Looks great - are they planned for indoor use? What finish did you use?

They use them primarily in the spring and fall when it is still a bit too cool to sit outside. They made a sort of greenhouse by the side of the house where it is protected from wind/rain and still have the outdoor feeling. Of course, a propane heater helps. They really like the outdoors.

It was finished with 3 coats of Min-Wax Spar varnish.
