    Laptop PC high table

Well it is almost finished. Still need to let the stain cure then apply a few coats of gloss poly. I found some time to work out in the shop yesterday. i have been wanting a table to set in front of my bike while it is in the house on the trainer. That way I can watch Sufferfest videos or listen to a good workout playlist with headphones without disturbing the rest of the family.
Now for the details: Red oak with a mix of Behr and Ace stains in provincial color. Mortice and tenon construction, top held on with rabbeted wood clips inserted into dados in the rails which are screwed in place thus letting the top move with changing humidity. 15" x 18"x 42". In use it stands over my front tire and will hold my laptop right in front of the handlebars. The pic with my hybrid is just for demonstration purposes.

Good job Mark! Had a need and built to suit.

Looks great Mark. Very practical indeed. One thing I like about woodworking is that you are not limited to what is available in stores and you can make any adjustments you want!

Thanks for the kind words. All my friends at the Local Bike Shop (LBS) want to see it. I might be able to make a few to sell as well.
