    Birthday Knife

Decided to customize a knife for my Dad's Birthday. The knife itself is not too spectacular. It's a 2" switchblade style. It came with a plastic grips and a Harley Davidson logo. I used the stock plastic as templates to make the new walnut handle grip. I used a HF letter punch set to inscribe his initials. I decided to darken it with a sharpie for contrast. The ink penetrated a little more than I anticipated, but resulted in a sort of branded look.

The walnut handle grip looks really great! Your Dad will surely love it.

    Thanks for sharing!

Nice effect Justin with the unintended bleed. You did a great job, not easy to fit small stocks like that.
