    Christmas Presents

Not a lot of shop time this year but I did get a few things done.

A small Walnut and Cherry jewelry box for my Grand Daughter. The design is from Wood magazine. Finish is clear Shellac.

A Tone Drum, also from Wood, for my Grand Son. Cherry top on a Maple case, finished with Deft spray laquer. Second one of these I have made.

My version of a couple of gag gifts that were in a tread here last year. I had given these to my boys last year with the pictures glued to cardboard boxes. I made 2 of each this year plus extra boxes to replace the boys' cardboard boxes.

    Christmas presents

Great job on all, looks like fun projects. I love walnut and cherry together.
I thought I was wrong, but I was mistaken.

I love those gag gifts! I have to make those for my sons in law. I like the tone drums and will have to make that for a couple of grandsons. My granddaughter would love a jewelry box like that too!

I like those boxes, very nice. The gag gift...'toy not included' is a riot. How did that one go over?

The Wood Puzzle is great. Took me a second to think about it.
