    Small Presents

Have not done much of woodworking in the past few months but here are couple of small presents that I made for my great Niece and Nephews. The cars were for two brothers (3 1/2 & 2 years old). One of the cars is made of Maple and Walnut and the other one is Red Oak and Walnut. The mobiles (2 of them) were for 2 new born and made from Maple. Both plans were from Wood magazine.

At least I know all the tools are working.

The cars look like they will be a lot of fun. Did you spend much time test driving them?

      I like those, Turaj.
Nice touch on the cars with the different wood in the center of the "hood".

Great looking toys and workmanship. I have about 50 toy plans in my computer. Waiting for 5 years on my daughter and son in law, but no baby yet. What is a old man to do? ha ha.

That is awesome Turaj! I like how the grain on the wheels look like treads. Very nice work, I am sure they will enjoy them

Thanks Guys. As with any other toy the best is watching them play with it

Actually, the wheels are from Lee Valley and yes, they have treads.
