To answer some questions. It is my own design. We looked at Jewelery Boxs on many sites. She would say oh i like that one. So after about 20 i had to come up with one. Yes she loves it. No new toys until its full. Just Kidding. I went from 40 grit to 400 grit then brown paper bags. Mixed Fruit Wood with a little Cherry. As soon as i got it on i rubbed it in and wiped it off to keep the grain of the Qak showing. Then 2 caots of clear Poly-U. Sanded between coats. All in all it came out loke i wanted. Took a week of mixing the stains to get what i wanted. If i missed anyone i will answer your's also. Hope i did not miss anyone. Thank You all for the GREAT comments.

That really looks great -- hard to believe it came from a couple ugly pallets. Excellent job!!
