    All about time (or Just-In_Time?)

Just couple of pictures of Christmas gifts that I made just in time (completed Friday morning before heading to my sister in law ):

The clocks are about 9" by 12" (face is 6 1/2 X 6 1/2). I asked each recipient to paint it with their own choice of colours but covered the faces with paper (scrap-booking paper).

Grass hoppers are about 8" long made of Maple and Walnut and finished with three coats of Tung oil. (the second picture was taken without a flash at night, hence the redish-yellow colour!)

Love the hoppers I think I might have swapped the legs between the two but very neat.

Thanks guys. It sure is fun to give something that you made it yourself.

Kristofer, I did think about that and played with it but somehow I ended up with this. I really couldn't decide one way or another so I just went with the original design.
