Nice work Jon. When I first saw it I thought it was a commercial fence. I really like the height.
I reject your reality and substitute my own.

      Thanks folks.

Sarge - simple and functional was my goal. Using the T-slot in the back of the fence faces will let me easily make full length zero clearance faces when required.

Jussi - Its 7 3/4" at the highest point with the bit opening ~3 1/2" which will accommodate the tallest bits I ever plan to use. I figured it was better to make a solid tall accurate fence as my main one. If I ever need a simple short fence for an application that for some reason this tall one wont work with its easy enough to use a jointed piece of wood that I can clamp to the table or fix to the back of the rip fence. It certainly isnt a commercial fence price, basically a bunch of scrap MDF and melamine with maybe $15 worth of T-bolts and knobs. Definatley better than buying one for $100+, that saved cash can stay in the tool fund.
