Wall mounted display case, baby change table and kitchen reno

It was nice to hear the positive feedback on the chest, so I thought I would show a few of the other projects I have made.

I made this for my sister and her husband on their wedding day. I did not stain it because I did not know where they would use it, and I wanted it to match whatever room they chose.

I also made a change table for our new daughter. I took an old table that my wife's grandfather made, and added sides to it to support the changing pad.

I did not build the cabinets, just tore out the old ones and installed new ones. I plan to build the cabinets in our new home.

I think you have very neat hands : all your output has great lines and no visible flaws.

Is that display case pine? and how is gonna be mounted?

The display case is pine and it will be mounted by the two cross boards on the back, you can just see them in that picture.

The reno job looks really nice. Did you run into any specific problems fitting in the new cabinets? I ask this as my house doesn't have a staight wall or square corner to be found.

Nice to see another Canuck on here. What part of the Great White North are you in?

The house was over 50 years old so there were few, if any, straight lines. I started with the corner cabinet and shimmed from there, if you look close there are many shims needed to align the cabinets.

                        I am from Vancouver Island.
