    Picture Frame

A friend asked me to build a frame for this picture. She bought it for her daughter's room and couldn't find a frame for the odd sized matting. She told me to make one I thought would look nice with the girl's room. She was very happy with the result.
On a side note I found the acrylic paint in small bottles at the craft store for $1.50.It works well on a small project and there are many colors to choose from.

Good job, drillman. Sometimes custom is easier than stock

Nice. And I guarantee the little girls will love the color as well.

Nice job, drillman. As soon as I saw that pinkish mauve.. I shouted young girl to me as they love pink or whatever reason.

Thanks for your kind words. This was a nice little project, not too time consuming and not too much thinking.

Looks great. Frames look so simple but I think that is where they getcha. Your frame looks fantastic, and I'm sure your friend and her daughter will be thrilled.

As the others have said, nice job! How do you like to fasten your mitered corners?
                    Blessings,

                      Thanks again for your compliments.
I made this from 3/4 stock and doweled the corners. I put them in at opposing angles to keep everything from twisting during glue up.
