    Mission style table set

Just finished up this weekend. The tops and shelves are birdseye maple ,and the framework is walnut. I inlaid smoke glass for the tops for a different look. Dowels and glue for the joints/slats, and pocket screws for the bottom shelves. Finished everything off with 2 coats of danish oil and 7 coats of spray lacquer. Thanks for looking.

Nice outcome, Exodus... very unusaul to see the walnut and maple used together and frankly it looks good indeed.

wow, that came out really great. I love brown and gold together. Those miter's looked like they would be difficult. You did a great job on those pieces!

Nice job all around. I don't think you made a mistake choosing the smoked glass to go with it.

Very nice indeed. The smoked glass is the PERFECT accent for the tables.

Lovely, I love the two tone wood. The black glass was a good choice.

                  What a beautiful set!

I am happy to note you used dowels - I want to do that my next project too; I feel they are strong enough.
