Thanks, This was made from scraps I p/u at a house that was being demolished down the street from me. The top is made of 2 pine stair treads the legs 2x4s and the stretchers or rails out of 2x6. All going to the dump but made a nice little coffee table. I think the next one I,ll add some stringers on the ends to give it that southwestern look and build a few end tables to match.Comment

Been there, done that with the ankle. Hope you mend fast so you get back in the shop and make matching end tables.Larry R. Rogers

For what its worth, I shattered it Sept 6th,2008, I,ve had 2 surgerys and saw my O.S. last week. Going under the knife again in Aug. for a fusing of the ankle(DAMIT) So, baseball,flag-football-softball,tennis etc ,are out according to him. He just don,t know me well yet. Anyways then I,ll go into a hard cast for 12-16 weeks and then a soft walking cast for re-hab and maybe be walking by 2010. I hope so, my ass has gotten flat from sitting in this wheelchair and Momma always liked my butt If you never saw the pics of it they are posted in the Bargain Alerts section under Delta Bandsaw, not my butt my leg. Which by the way the 28-276 bandsaw is no longer posted on Lowes website anymore its officially discountinued now so gettem cheap while you can find em.Good Luck, TommytComment

Good to know you are not posting pics of your butt on the forum.
Nice table. What are the dimensions? It is the same design I used to make one for my brother several years ago, except I inset glass into the top of his.David

Hey Crockett, The Dimensions are Top-48 in. x 23 1/2, base is 19 in. high x 18 in. wide x 41 1/2 in.long all biscuit jointed together and pocket screwed. Momma thinks its too tall, but I think it,s perfect for a cold Bud, a bowl of chips and some chilled dip for the upcoming Nascar and Baseball season.Plus the Grandaughter says its perfect for her coloring booksLast edited by tommyt654; 03-24-2013, 11:57 AM.Comment

That's a good use of scrap wood. Nicely done. Hope the ankle doesn't give you too much trouble before you get it fixed right.
