Angus Young, move over -- There's a new kid in town!

Ok, so it's not MY finished project, but check out this cool guitar that my brother made for my son!

He picked it up, threw the strap over his head and started rocking out like a pro. (Well, strumming like a four year old anyway ) It looks like he already has all the moves down for a great stage performance. Now we just need to get him some lessons!

I'm told the guitar was built using parts from various sources, including good ol' Grizzly.com. But I can only take credit for the boy who is playing the guitar rather than the guitar itself.

Nice!! I can't wait to put in some time with my acoustic. Maybe in another 20 years I'll know how to play it.
I think in straight lines, but dream in curves

Those are really nice looking guitars. The musician is good looking too.

          Looks like another guitar hero.
I read a pretty in depth post about a year ago from a man building a stratocaster clone for his son who was in his late teens. The guitar turned out nice but he went through a steep learning curve on his first attempt at guitar building.

I like the matching outfit was that planned?
I think therefore I .....awwww where is that remote.

And I noted that it looks like the same shirt as the one he's wearing in the avatar pick, so it's either a coincidence or he's really into black on white!

Ha -- you're right! The matching shirt is coincidence, and so is the avatar picture.

If you can grow his hair longer, get him to wear makeup, and show him how to spit blood, you might have another rock superstar on your hands. You know what that means: a beachfront condo for mom and dad!
