    Great colors in the wood, and nice job on the splined corners. Show us a picture of the sled/jig you used to cut the slots for the splines.

            Great job! They look fantastic!

            The reason for the 1/8 space in the plans is to allow the wood in the middle to expand and not blow out your miter corners. Your piece may be small enough that it doesn't come back to bite you.

            Either way, they look great!
