The latest from the REDNECK WORKSHOP

I have just finished a little "horse scooter" for my granddaughter, Kelly. The main body, head and "legs" are red oak and the ears, mane and tail are canary wood. It's the first time I've worked with that type wood and it works well. The plans and hardware came from Miesel Hardware. This was a fun project and it turned out a lot cuter than I thought it would. My daughter picked the plan and I wasn't happy with the choice, but she was right!

Now, all I have to do is get it shipped to Chicago so it arrives in one piece!

Thanks for stopping by for a look.

Wow that is nice. It is a new twist on an old idea. How was it to work the canary wood?
