NICE! I will be sure NOT to let my wife see your post! I have TOO many projects now!

Throughout my racing career I was constantly reminded of this: "Keep the pointy end forward and the shiny side up!"

Sarge, it looks really good for a quick project. Now that it will be out in the bedroom why not add a shelf to the rear of the top? You also seem to turn out a lot of work - I think you've done more in the last 3 months or so then I've done in the last 3 years.

The chief cause of failure in this life is giving up what you want most for what you want at the moment.

But LOML would need at least 10 of them.
Thanks Paul... yeah, somehow they all have the Amelia Marcos sydrome on the shoes and purses. Perhaps a purse rack would be in order?

Thanks Crockett. As most women.. she has a ton of shoes for whatever reason. The man's theory of one pair of sneakers... a good pair of boots.. casual slip on's and a pair of dress shoes for weddings and funerals doesn't float in Women's World.

I may build a second one for outside which would allow her to put this one in the closet as it was intended. If so.. I would add a backer at the top and probably cubby holes.. possibly a dust back to give it a more sophisticated look. I was going to start a new computer desk but decided yesterday to delay till after Xmas as money has to be allotted for that. So... another one as I mentioned would be a good 3-4 day project with the cubby holes.

I do quite a few pieces as since last November I did a bed.. 6 drawer and 5 drawer chest of drawers.. a TV stand and an entertainment center for my son.. an a Mission coffee table along with this 7 hour project. In between I do some tinkering in the shop as I have just built a new T square router dado jig and customized my TS spring-board so it is hinged allowing it to be moved all the way left of blace and drop down vertically in lieu of protrude out in the way.

Tomorrow some extra TS zero inserts and add a phenolic fence to my existing BS fence and a phenolic half fence on my TS long fence. So... yeah I do stay kind of busy down there with both furniture projects and improving jigs.. etc.. etc.. But.. it keeps me out of trouble I suppose, well... most of the time anyway..

Thanks John.... even though I didn't get challenged on this one.... I did enjoy the break from larger carcasses.. drawers and multitudes of mortise and tenons. I still got to shave a few boards down to make something useful even though the standard for me... two week cure on the Danish oil can't be avoided before put to use.
