    Box in Makore and Walnut

    Hi all,
A box made from figured Makore and some Peruvian Walnut I had lying around.
    Box is approx 330 x 220 x 170 mm.
Finger joints courtesy of the Leigh Finger joint jig, using a CMT 1/4" spiral upcut and an Festool OF2000 router.
    Top panels are dominoed together.
Base board is New Guinea Rosewood.
    Sanding and sealing:Festool RO150, ETS150 and DTS400.
Still to be waxed and buffed. Lid also still to be hinged.

    Regards,

    Rob

That is some beautiful wood. The contrasting finger joints is very nice looking.
