    Extreme Birdhouse # 44

Hi everyone , Here is my latest Extreme Birdhouse . It is made from 100 year old reclaimed barn wood . It is 5 ft wide and 7 ft tall . I designed it with a built in bird bath on the roof .

That is impressive! Good job! What type of bird is it for? You did forget the wood shop on the side of the lot or is that comming next.

        John,

Can I come up and lie there??

Really nifty stuff, and I'm not going to say your work is for the birds.

Thank you everyone for the great comments . This house was designed for sparrows . They don,t mind living next to each other .
I use regular barn steel for the roof and low pitch roofing on the flat section .The barn steel is good for 40 years .

John, really like your birdhouses. How long does it take you to build one like pictured above?

That is truly amazing. I doubt the average "common" bird could afford the rent in a place like that. Sure puts to shame anything I've build and put in my yard ! haha

Where do you mount something like that ? Do you have pics of any in use ? What kind of birds typically move in ?
