Nice. That chair reminds me of this one my wife bought for the kids -- called a Kinderzeat (some European design). My jaw dropped when my wife told me this kid's chair holds 300 lbs., b/c it looks like it would shatter. Sure enough, it holds my 200+ without a whimper. Some of these designs are fascinating.

Nice chair. I like the design, never saw anything quite like it before. Doesn't look as strong as a traditional chair, but probably strong enough.

Nice piece of craftsmanship. I might have considered a through spline at those wild corners.

Mine's a lot lighter than that, most times... But the rest of me, well that's another story...

My head and my azz have been accused of being conjoined, but they still are different parts... (My head is the one with less hair...)

They are splined, we just used the same wood for splines and of course ran the grain perpendicular to the joint line. May have been overkill now that I look at the designers video but we also doweled through the joint. Mike had nightmares about being sued over a chair we'd donated Pat

As Mark mentioned, I do host pictures for a few of the members here.

Crockett has also mentioned in another thread what one of the problems could possibly be for those who have problems with images. There is a Netgear router (not sure which one it is -- Crockett may remember) that for some reason has a problem passing image data through that originates from my server.

                    Oh...... Spiffy lookin' chair Pat!!

Wow -- I agree. Great chair, but it would take me some time to learn to trust it. What a statement it makes, though. Very impressive.

Nice chair Popeye and David. Sorry for the belated congrats but I have a tendency to stay up to my ears with shop work and have to hit and run. That means I don't always catch all.

                          Excellent design.. excellent execution...
