    Repaired coffee table

The youngest sons coffee table got broken but the marble top was not damaged, the wife and I made a new base for it out of left-overs in the shop and some Borg legs. A couple pieces of BB ply, some Alder edgebanding, 5 coats of Rust-Oleum Satin Black for the top and legs. Sedona Red Minwax stain on the Alder, and 8 coats of Dull Rubbed Lacquer to top it.

He is back in business with a card table and the wife and I had an enjoyable day in the shop putting it together for him.

Nice job Stan, the edging sets of the marble perfectly.

Unique setting the original top into a large frame. It works/looks great!

Stan, that is cool. That was a great idea to set the marble top into that frame.

Looks very nice. Good way to reuse the marble. Would certainly be a shame to waste it.

Excellent job on that table Stan. I'll bet your son gets years of enjoyment from it. It's nice that Liz was able to help!
