    Liquor cabinet

I keep forgetting to post this thing. I actually finished it a few years ago (except that I still need to add a glass rack to the bottom) but I've become so used to seeing it that I don't even remember it when I people ask me what I've built!

You may notice that the right door is a little off -- need to fix that. Also I was going to add some molding to the top but I can't quite decide what to do... There's not a heck of a lot of room there. Any ideas?

The glass is textured, which is why it looks a little fuzzy.

In any case, I built it specifically for the little nook between the kitchen and the dining room, and to fit unopened tubes of Glenfiddich, which don't really fit anywhere else in the kitchen.

So I thought I'd share it... Now I think I'll go get a drink

Actually, you wouldn't need to fix it if you didn't tell people about it - I didn't notice it until you mentioned it. Of course, I always point out every mistake I make, so who am I to talk!

    Great work!

          Nice!

BTW - as of three weeks ago, I am a certified whisky taste taster, compliments of the Jameson distillery in Dublin. I'd be glad to help you sort your bottles.

Very nice looking, Alex, I'm not sure I would add any molding to the top as the oak stands alone in a craftsman style. And their is no crown on your ceiling. Adding a molding to the top of the chest might not compliment it surrounding IMO. Unless your wife says too.. then just add it.

              Again.. well done Alex...

              Regards....

Looks great. 9 bottles of wine easily stored. I like it.
