        The back was easy after I finally got the hexagonal shape right. It's attached to the back legs with double sided screws - i don't know what they're called. Pointed screw tip at both ends. Can someone name them? Found them at Ace Hardware.

        The leg he broke off was a front leg. I had originally attached them with glue and brads. This time I reinforced them with screws through the seat into the legs which are solid. Then patched the seat holes and repainted.

        If anyone has a better idea (in case it breaks again!) I'd love to hear it!.
