    Bathroom Cabinet

It's been some time since I have posted pictures of a finished project, after all, who wants to see pictures of me putting up stud walls. So I built a cabinet to replace the ugly white thing that sat over the toilet in the downstairs bathroom. The bathroom just isn't big enough for great pics but I think they still tell the story.

I used pine with cedar for the door panels. I wiped the whole thing down with tung oil, and when that cured for a week I sealed with a semi-gloss poly. I had a little "blotching" on the inside but it might be because this was "econo-pine".
    Thanks for having a look.

Nice Richard, I like the brown swirls in the pine. Very nice grain pattern. What the heck is that gold colored contraption that looks like a robot?

Very handsome, but why is there a Dalek in your bathroom? He does seem to be gold, so perhaps he serves to keep the Cybermen away?

Thanks for the kind words my friends. I guess Chris wins the grand prize for recognizing the Dalek but you will need a TARDIS to collect the prize. LOML gave that to me for Christmas as she knew I loved watching Dr. Who when I was growing up( plus my children are hooked on the new series).

You just can't beat pine for a nice, homey feel.
