Thanks all. It is not a Kanji character. It is a stylized arch so as to look like a belt, good call all. It's very graphic, and I liked it.

The 12 gauge is in the gun locker, not on the sword rack! ;-)

Omar, I have been in martial arts for quite some time. I have a black belt in Kenpo and Juijitsu, I am 'level 2' in the Thai boxing association of the USA, due to test for level 3 (top rank there) pretty much whenever I want to and have the training time to get conditioned for it. I am ranked in escrima through the Inayan system of Kali escrima, for siniwali and dequertas. I've done a lot of training in kedina de mano (knife fighting), as well as largo mano (sword). I've also trained Kenjutsu and Iaijutsu.

So I've been around the block, broken a ton of stuff, been cut badly twice, open dislocation of toe, etc... ring fighting arts take a toll.

WOW! i was just expecting something simple, most of the stuff just flew over my head. but since my children seem to love the stuff they are doing, i am going to look into what is out there in terms of this art.

may have to ask you a question or two sometime else

To update this thread, Jikiri felt the need to point out to me that I'm a horrible speller of wordz, and he's quite right! If it isn't a keyword in c/c++, I am likely to mangle it. As such, he pointed out that mangled some of the terms from Eskrima. Some of the terms have different spellings from different schools, and I did train in a couple of different schools of Eskrima (also spelled Escrima in some schools), so I'm not entirely incorrect on all of them, however I am quite certain that I am incorrect in a few.

Regardless, I apologize for my misspellings, if they have offended anyone else in the past in any way. I certainly cringe when people misspell Muay Thai, so I empathize with Jikiri.
