    Christmas scrollsaw projects

I haven't really been around here much lately (not enough time with work and family). I finally got an hour of shop time, so I made a puzzle cube.

It's made with compound cuts; it's a puzzle cube with angels on the four faces. Since it's hand cut, the pieces only really fit one way, so it can actually be quite a challenge

The reindeer is similar to those you'd see at wood shows where the Carter people make with a 2x4 and a bandsaw, but just scaled down. I had actually made this quite a while back, but I don't think I posted it before.

That's a quarter for size comparison (any smaller and I'd be cutting off fingers!)

Cheers and have a safe Christmas/etc everyone.

looking good. I'm still working on the snowflake I started last year. I drilled probably 150 holes in it, and its no bigger than 6x6.

          That's very nice.

I have a scrollsaw, now If I could figure out where I put my patience I could consider it

Must be rewarding to go out into the shop and an HOUR later come back in with a nice finished project like that.

I would like to get that pattern........ My first one probably won't turn out as nice as yours though.
