          Thanks for all of the kind words. This boat has been a challenge to my patients. A lot of prep work and production (like milling 1800 linear feet of stock!) goes into getting things just right. I did learn a lot with my first build and think I can cut some sanding and filling (epoxy filler) an can't wait to built the next one!
          I assume you make the paddles, too! Wouldn't do to have synthetic paddles on a wooden kyak.
          I do have plans on making my own paddles with a bit of Carbon Fiber too (high tech meets old school). The combing around the cockpit will be made from carbon fiber, along with some deck fitting and various other "do-dad's"
          Where do you paddle it at?
          I live in Summerville, SC which is just west of Charleston. I've mostly paddled on Lake Marion, Bulls Bay, and the Ashley River. However, there are mile upon miles of water ways, lakes and swamps here and I want to paddle all of it!!!
