    I feel better now. The 2x6s are for the wall not the floor. I thought you were saying you upgraded the floor joists to 2x6s.

      There is also a major support beam or wall about every 12 feet under the floor joists. The main beam under the floor is a 5"x12"x22' parallam supported by two 6"x8" posts and sits on the foundation at the ends. Pretty hefty support. It took six of us to put it in place.

      Up to now we have used 5000 16d nails in the structure. Senco Framing nailers are great tools. Not one misfire yet.
