"Did you follow plans from somewhere ?"

The answer is "yes and no" or "kinda". We ( my daughter and I) looked thru my woodworking books and magazines and took pieces from two or three different projects.

The over all design came from "Shelving and storage" from Popular Mechanics but the size needed to be changed to fit her space. Reducing the size caused me to change from having a middle divider (hight) and two sides with shelves to no divider and full width shelves. I also changed the door design from having real mutins and 8 panes of glass per door to having 1 large piece of glass and fake mutins glued to the glass as per a Wood magazine article. This seems to be my usual route to a project. I see something I like and change it to fit what I need or what will fit.
