    Birthday Present for TLOML

Hello Guys and Gals, It's been a while since I posted on here. I have been somewhat busy over the last couple of months. The best project was rebuilding an old park bench for my wife's birthday present. Here are the before and after shots.
I am now try to build a screen door with an Adirondack theme to it for my back entrance to my house. Wish me luck with this one, lots of carving involved.
    Take care
    and Keep Making that Sawdust.
    Lance

Good job, Lance. Bet your wife is happy with her birthday present.
I thought I was wrong, but I was mistaken.

Nice! Looks like there is a relief cut into the back and the lettering added to be level with the rest of the boards. Cool idea, may steal that one.

Yes Pappy you are correct on that theory. It is exactly the same depth as the letters. Makes the back more comfortable.

Very nice. Maybe this will give MY HUSBAND....hint hint....an idea for fixing a bench that we have that is similar.
