    Coupla Pens

    Hi folks,

These pens aren't going to set anybody's world on fire, but I enjoyed making them.

The one in the foreground is purpleheart. The even blurrier one in the background I turned from rose cane I pruned a few years ago and saved for some reason. I'm not sure what I thought I would use it for, but after finding them recently while tidying up the carhole, it turned very easily. That one's got a light cyanoacrylate finish; we'll see how it holds up.

I was going for a sort of dart shape on the rose cane pen, as it was to be a birthday gift for my boss, accompanying a dart set.

    Thanks for looking!

    -Mike.

They look good. The "dart" pen has a very unique look. The CA finish should hold up very well. It is one of the most durable finishes available.
