Is the maple laminated onto the body? I noticed a different grain on the back. What is the main body wood? What finish did you use?

its all maple (with a piece of walnut in the back of the neck you can't see...) the top is a veneer

so now you have got to let us in on the details. what finish did you use? what pickups are you using? how many positions on the switch? what strings? what bridge? tuners? how does it sound?
finish= dyed burst (dyed brown sanded in the middle, then dyed red) and then danish oil
pickups are stewart macdonald golden age humbuckers
3 position switch (gibson standard) but the knos are also a 2 position switch, which makes a whopping 48 switch configurations (but only about 20 will produce a unique sound)
        strings are d-addario ultra lights
bride is a TOM from guitar fetish
tuners are wilkenson locking tuners, also from guitar fetish
sounds really good, I can make it sound like a strat, a tele, a les paul, and anything in between.

dyed burst (dyed brown sanded in the middle, then dyed red) and then danish oil applied, then I let it cure for a week, and rubbed it out with steel wool, and mineral spirits, then buffed it with paste wax. its very smooth, very easy to apply, and very nice on the neck (of the guitar, not mine).
