    Railroad Clock-Wood this time

Well, I finally finished my railroad clock. Some of you may remember I posted a picture in January of the cardboard prototype to make sure it wasn't too big for the room.

It was built from Woodcraft plans, but as usual I made some adjustments. I made the case about 1" thinner and the height about 1 or 2" less.

There were a few small projects in between, but I finally finished it. Of course, there are a couple of boo-boos, but...nobody will probably notice.

I am attaching pictures of the cardboard and finished versions.

Out of the two I like the one on the right much more.

Very nice... If I had any time I would make one.

The one on the right is fantastic, Warren. The other one is a bit too rustic for my tastes!

Fabulous! The finish is classy - real professional.

Btw, do you have plans for the one on the left? I am thinking that's all I might be able to achieve... .

Very nice, I especially like the mitered corners on the door frame. As nice as any clock I have ever seen. You should go into business making those.

Excellent clock, where did you get the guts?
(I think you should have taken a picture with the cardboard clock face in that case and posted it)

Jes: It is made of walnut with a glossy polycrylic finish. Simple, but looks good.

Linux: Guts were from the Woodcraft clock kit.

Radhak: Maybe I should create a kit for the prototype model.

All: Thanks for the feedback...always appreciated.
