    Yeah, the "joints" are on the sides of each post and you can see it if you look. Like you said, a veneer glued to each side would fix that problem. Using 12/4 stock would fix it as well. I just didn't take that step with mine but I'm happy with the results.

    Don't mind the quesitons at all. I enjoy talking woodworking and I'm good at rambling ! haha

      That is a very, very nice piece of furniture. You should be proud and I guess its true, you can't have enough clamps. Nice progress pictures. Good luck on the dresser.

        Good craftsmanship even for a seasoned woodworker. Nice job. This should be an impetus to do the dresser.
