    thanks everybody for the comments , if you liked this one you will really like the eagle i did for my MIL that was 20"T X 18"W and took me 18 hours to saw out on the scrollsaw next time i get to her house i will take acouple of pics for you guys

    ironhat i used a wilton 16" VS scroll saw with a no.3 skip tooth blade the blade is about 1/32 of and inch thick
    the only sanding i did was on the handle and face of the saw blade before i started cutting with the scroll saw

    with that small of a blade i was cutting the pencil line in half so it was really easy to follow the line and it leaves a very fine finish

        that is so cool I was wondering if you did this from a template and if you still have it.
