    First wood project

This is my very first woodworking project. I know that typically people take on something maybe a little simpler, but I couldn't resist. Learned a lot (and probably wasted just as much) that will be beneficial done the road. The method to hold the table up is rather crud, but functional. The whole experience was cool! I’m looking forward to the next project. Not sure exactly what it will be, but it must include to use of a router table. I feel like a daddy show off pictures of his kid!!!!

That's outstanding especially for a 'first' project. I'm looking forward to your next projects. Well done.

Nice table. The bit storage storage drawers are a good idea. Your design or from plans?

The only way I see to improve on it is by moving it to my shop! Nice job, now get out there and put it to work!

Wow, that is an awesome piece, whether it is your first or not. Those are mighty fancy handles for a shop - mine are generally whatever is left over.

Did you follow a plan or design it yourself?

Very nice! I think you'll probably find that once you have a router table, it is hard not to use it on every project.

Quite an undertaking for your first project and you did a fantastic job. It won't be hard to find a project to use that awesome table, the router is used on most projects. heck, I'd go use that table just to make sawdust and have some fun.

                        Be proud!

Thanks for the compliments. Pappy and bthere, I'm not accomplished enough to come up with any plans, so they came from a Kreg video using their pocket hole joinery. Kinda cool how that works. Oh, the handles were similar to the ones used on the video. I was just trying to emulate it as much as possible. Although they had the top bolted down and just showed an example of the lifting top. I liked that better, so I winged that part (as you can tell).
