    Vanity project

A vanity project requested by the niece/nephew. Initial design was done with Better Homes & Gardens Interior Designer 7.0. It will go 'out the door' tomorrow after I get the right offset hinge plates (just used what I had at the moment to put it together). Toe-kicks will be installed after they get it in place.

Niece will be adding a tile countertop with a vessel sink as one of her home building projects. She will also be adding some burnished bronze drawer/door pulls.

Hickory with 3 coats of Minwax Water based Poly Satin.

From the NW corner of Montana.

Excellent. Can't say enough about the look of the piece and the hickory grain really jumps out.

Hickory on this one (not quite as rustic as they wanted -- but that's what they found for lumber). The faux pegs are Black Walnut.

Next few projects will be out of Rustic Alder.

That turned out NICE! Are the corners pegged with dowels or is that decorative buttons?

Punched a hole with the mortiser and drove in a 3/8 x 3/8 chunk of Black Walnut into each hole --- decorative faux pegs.

Great job. I really like the door frames. They are unique and stand out.
