      The Heart was done by printing a heart from my computer and making a template from it. Then using a guide bushing in the router I made a second, smaller template. Then using both templates and two different sized guide bushings I routed out both pieces then cut them in half.

      The guy I built it for was following the build via pictures I posted on the web. The ones regarding the heart start here:

      Creating the pocket for the inlay starts here:

      Inlay Pocket

      Normally to create an inlay you use a template and two different guide bushings, one to create the inlay and one to create the pocket. Think of this as just too independant inlays and I think you'll get the idea.
